A smile in the midst of the flood...

If happiness could be bought with money or wealth, then maybe so many great men would still be alive today.
If the lady who in the midst of the flood could still afford a smile with her hands on her waist for pose even with a better part of her body covered with water, why then should you and I who even have access to the internet in the comfort of our homes and offices frown? Many would for fear of dangerous animals and fishes be frightened and allow their worries have the better of them but she didn't care as she still could wear a smile which at that moment should be the most expensive commodity to possess.
This should prove to anyone that happiness should not be dependent on your state at a particular time but on the joy that comes from your inside. Truth is, no matter how much assets a man acquires, it still would not have anything to do with his happiness.
Happiness is the ability to rejoice even in the midst of inconveniences. Put a happy man on the top and he will smile, put him at the bottom and he still would smile. Who told you that if you get that Hummer you'd be happy? Who told you that if you make that position you'd be happy? Many would pay a fortune if they could to smile yet a lady in the midst of the flood could even add a pose to hers. Learn to be happy where you are now and where you are going to is not going to be seeming too far. Cheers!!! :)

THE THINGS I WANT TO SAY...

The things I want to say are the things that could be said by anybody, but nobody says these things because everybody thinks that somebody must have said these things...


These things are crying to be heard and keep hoping that one day they would be because everybody could possibly say these things, but nobody is willing to say these things because they think that somebody somewhere must have said these things knowing very well that anybody could say these things...


These things suffer, they suffer just because they were made available for everybody but a message to be passed and not kept, they end up in the minds of everybody because everybody thinks that since anybody could have said these things, somebody must have said these things and then these things suffer because truly nobody has said these things...


These things are at the risk of extinction because everybody thinks somebody must have said these things, yes because anybody could say these things when truly nobody has...


But at the very end, the very very end, everybody would discover the need and then the will power to say these things that have been made available but kept secret unconsciously because everybody thinks that since anybody could say these things, somebody must have said these things when truly nobody did...

Nigeria turns 52 today and I thought it nice to share the Nigerian national anthem for all especially those who might have problems singing it... Nigeria is our country, one we must love and uphold with love. For those of us abroad, we must try to protect the image of the country as she is ours... God bless us all!!! God bless Nigeria!!! Before you admire that house,
before you like that house,
and dream of living there with your spouse,
before you pay for that house,
have you checked the roof???


Before you take that one stick,
before you forget that like glue addiction sticks,
and like a pin pricks,
before you make do with that one cigarette stick,
have you checked if it would do you good to puff???

Again I wonder... yoU and I (the alphabets)

At times i wonder who invented the alphabets
I look at it and so many errors i get
and then think of why it was accepted
did anyone even try to protest?


I wonder why he did not put V before E
and O before V
and then L before O
so that LOVE we get
And then know that it exists at least from birth
anytime we get to look at the alphabets

WONDER NO MORE

This and so many other errors I felt
And if you want I could bet
That a fatal error everyone and I detest
And if given the chance would attend to first
Is put U next to I
so that it would be as close as I want yoU and I to be...
